  • What is the policy on attendance and absences?
At our school, we believe that regular attendance is essential for academic success and overall student well-being. To ensure a positive learning experience for all students, we have established an attendance policy that outlines clear expectations, procedures, and consequences. According to CBSE attendance policy, all students are expected to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% for each grade for the promotion of the next class. This requirement ensures that students have consistent engagement with their learning and can fully benefit from the educational opportunities provided. In the event of absences, it is mandatory for parents to submit a leave application along with a Medical Certificate or Supportive document if applicable for their child if they are absent for a day or two. This helps us maintain accurate records and ensures proper communication between school and home. Additionally, our attendance policy stipulates that failure to meet the minimum attendance requirement may result in the student not being promoted to the next class. We understand the importance of regular attendance in achieving academic success and aim to support students in meeting this expectation. We encourage parents to prioritize attendance and communicate with us promptly in case of any absences or concerns. Together, we can work towards fostering a culture of attendance and accountability that promotes student achievement and well-being.
